4th of July

I used Ann Reardon's You Tube Video on  How to cook that Video.  I took a few pictures of the steps below.  It was easier then I thought it would be, which was great! For the icing I put three individual bags of icing inside a larger bag and used the 1M tip to swirl the top with festive 4th of July colors.  Fourth of July Fun!

4th of July Goodies

My Aunt held her annual 4th of July picnic and as usual, it was a blast...  I made a cake to help celebrate all of the July Birthdays.  I also made some cookie pops.  The recipe is dangerously simple.  You need two items- A pack of any cookies and a bar of cream cheese. I made three different flavor of cookie-Birthday Cake Oreos', Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Chips AHoy and Nutter Butter.  Grind the cookies up using a food processor and then mix in the softened cream cheese.  Chill the dough. Once chilled, roll into balls, dip in white chocolate coating and you are done...  Supper good and dangerous to have around the house....

I Pledge Allegiance Flag Cake

Flag Cake

My aunt asked for a cake with a "design inside" for her annual picnic.  I settled on a flag cake. I found the details of how to do it from Glorious Treats.  I envy her blue cake stand from fishes eddie... but I digress...   I also made a "little" birthday cake for my second cousin. I used my copykake projector. Picture are below.  Enjoy!

Here are some pictures of the "making of... "

Cakes are cooling for the flag cake.  This is the batter for the cupcakes...

 Stacking the flag cake...

How did I make this boy scout logo? With my CopyKake...  This projector allows me to pipe designs I wouldn't be able to do easily freehand.

Here it is...

 Work in progress...
