Thrilled my nieces still want me to make them a fun themed birthday cake and also just as elated that the fun Disney themed cakes haven't faded with age yet... Made the cake pops out of mashed up cookies and cream cheese covered in white chocolate. Used the grass tip for Sully fur.
My Beautiful, kind, introspective, thoughful and smart niece...So proud of you!

Christmas Cookies 2018
Easiest way to personalize already made cookies is to purchase the Limited Edition White Fudge Oreo's that only come out during the Christmas season and decorate with royal icing....
Decorated a few sugar cookies this year... Assembled a tree theme and a Christmas light theme...
Another super easy cookie assembly that looks like it take more time is to dye sugar cookie dough green and Red, cut out leaf shapes, assemble in a flower pattern and add an Oreo in the middle to complete the poinsettia design...

Eric's Birthday
To say my nephew is a fan of nerf guns is an understatement. This kid LOVES to play all of the time so it was fitting that he chose a Nerf gun themed cake. I made the bullets out of pirouette cookies wrapped in blue fondant. After about 3 hours of making bullets I regretted my decision to make the bullets instead of adding to my nephews collection and just buying the bullets... but it was worth it in the end :)
What a cutie...

Check out the quick timelapse video of how I made the cake...

Eagles SuperBowl52 Birthday Celebration!
We watched the Superbowl with our family and also celebrated Lilly's 14th Birthday... The Eagle turned out great! Made a frozen buttercream transfer recipe that was 2 parts butter to 1 part shortening. It was much softer and allowed me to make crisper edges. So proud of the Eagle's and their Superbowl Win!

Polar Express Birthday
This kid still loves the Polar Express Movie and requested a polar express cake again this year. This time I made a frozen buttercream transfer of the train and tried to make it look like it was plowing through the snow...

monkeying around
This monkey turned 11 this year and to celebrate she choose a cupcake cake... I haven't made one in a while and was a little worried about transport so I made a batch of royal icing and secured each cupcake to the board. It worked. I delivered it all in one piece. Also played around with my new Iphone and filmed a time lapse of making her fun cake...

Shake it for Avah
Remember your middle school celebrity crush? This cake is a result of a certain teenager's crush on Luke Bryant... It's fun, funny and reflective of the joy and happiness this now 13 year old brings to our family... Happy Birthday!
Here initial reaction to seeing the cake... I think she liked it :)
